The light at mid-day was no longer conducive to getting any good images, so I was about to pack up my gear when I spotted the sun backlighting the mist rising off Dillon falls on the Deschutes River outside Bend, Oregon. I decided to get my camera back onto my tripod to get these images of this golden curtain of mist. This is my favorite of that scene.
