My first attempt at underwater photography, fortunately for me, came in the Great Barrier Reef of Australia, a place that has no shortage of subject matter for snorkelers. I was using a borrowed underwater camera that shot only in jpeg, a lower quality format than I am used to photographing landscapes. Nevertheless, I thought I'd include them as an addendum to my Australia Gallery of images.
