Although it wasn't my main focus, I tried to make the most of a brief stay in the wine country of Sonoma County in June 2011. No doubt the fall would have been far more productive photographically. Nevertheless, I was able to identify some places I'd love to return to when the grapes are plumper, the grapevines turning autumn colors, and the season of the vine really goes into full swing during grape crush.
