A batch of small sharks, abundant in the ocean off of the seaside village of Arniston, are filleted by workers at a shed near the town boat launch. Arniston is a small seaside settlement in the Overberg region on the Cape South coast, close to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa. Fishing is still an important means of earning a livelihood. The village has an historic section of old fishermen's cottages. Cape Agulhas is where the Atlantic and Indian Ocean collide. It also is a breeding ground for great white sharks.
