Mt. Rainier reflected in Bench Lake in Mt. rainier National Park, Washington, USA. I had hiked into Bench Lake the day prior to taking this shot only to discover that you can't get the best perspective of the mountain and its reflection unless you get your feet wet and wade to the far side of the shallow lake. My hiking boots had to stay dry for several more days on this trip. Barefoot was out due to rocks and sticks on the bottom. So I returned the next day wearing my Keen waterproof sandals to get this shot. I'm very glad I did. Although Mt. Rainier National Park has a "Reflection Lakes" that is very popular with photographers, I think this little spot offers an even better view of the mountain and its reflection.
