A study in light during a sunrise with Broken Top, one of the volcanic peaks in the Oregon Cascades, as my subject. This sequence of four images were taken within a half hour period, and you can see the tremendous difference in light that can occur in a short time during sunrise. The color temperature and white balance were the same in all the shots, only the ambient color as a result of the rising sun changed.
