Aquatic birds and seals gather on a granite rock formation off the coastline of Monterey Bay near Pebble Beach, California at dawn. I was less interested in detail and more interested in the beautiful warm-cool color contrast of the water and sky as well as the silhouettes of the birds and seals massing on the rock.
