In the creek bed, prepare to get wet. This cascade puts out a lot of mist! On this, my third visit to Proxy Falls in November 2011, I was fortunate in that the wind was not blowing the mist into my face and camera. I had many more keepers as a result. In the past, a good 70% of my images were ruined by lens water spots, no matter how hard I tried to try it off and wipe down the lens between shots. The creek bed is an emerald fantasy world with boulders and fallen logs completely covered by moss.
