Lower Proxy Falls is situated in a way that makes it difficult during the course of much of the day to get a good exposure because of the contrast of light and dark. In that case, I opted to focus on the beautiful details of portions of the falls against exposed lava rock covered with moss. Live and fallen trees sometimes added to the compositions.
