One would have a difficult time thinking about the great state of California without evoking one of its most iconic and defining locations, the Big Sur coastline.
I've visited Big Sur on several occasions, and while the popularity of this beautiful location is totally understandable, it is clear that it faces a threat of being "loved to death" with large summer crowds that crowd windy Highway 1 and overtax its facilities.
To preserve the area's beauty, respect for the land and support of conservation efforts are required. This gallery contains some of my images that showcase some of the most beautiful locations of this region of the California coastline.
